MONEY TALKS
How
many times have you heard that statement? Answer
the following questions, truthfully, and learn how money “talks”
to you, or about you. Journalize your answers for future review.
1.
Where did the money in my pocket (bank account, purse, wallet, coin
jar, safe deposit box) come from?
2.
What do I believe I must do to have money in my possession?
3.
How much money do I believe I am worthy of and can accept?
4.
Why do I think I can’t accept more?
5.
Do I believe there are forces active that prevent me from manifesting
more?
6.
Do I believe being impoverished is vitreous?
7.
Do I believe “money is the root of all evil”?
8.
What are my motives for desiring money?
Dr.
Raymond Charles Barker (Science of Mind) wrote the following affirmation
in his booklet “Money”. Daily practice of the following
affirmation can lead to a significant change in your beliefs about money,
and in your physical health.
“Money
is God’s idea of circulation in my life.”
The
nature of our universe is fluidic and flexible activity, as is the human
form. When the free-flowing activity of either is slowed or halted,
dis-ease and eventual disease settles in. When fluidic water becomes
frozen, it eventually cracks!
The
human heartbeat/pulse registers the activity of the circulatory system.
Earth’s “heartbeat” registers the internal flow of
the molten iron core as she “inhales and exhales”. The Stock
Market registers the world’s economic pulse.
When
we feel impoverished or experience lack, be it material or spiritual,
we go into a “clinch or cinching up” mode. Often, with fists
clinched, we curse our situation and ask “Why me?” We “cinch
up the belt”, as we prepare for the worst. We even save “for
a rainy day”. Instead of clinching or cinching up, which tightens
our circulatory system, we need to take a step backward, breathe deeply
a few times, and get focused on what we want, as opposed to what we
don’t want. Ask, “What do I need to do to have money freely
circulating in my life?” Instead of praying for money, which implies
it’s lacking, pray money (Gregg Braden’s method) in the
knowing that we are loved and are prosperous in body, mind, and spirit.
Become peaceful, then focus on the knowing that money IS God in action
The
next time someone offers you money or a gift, be it new or recycled,
will you accept it or will you say “Oh no, I couldn’t”.
Acceptance is the first step toward prosperity. Allow prosperity to
come into your experience regardless of the direction. We don’t
always see the “bigger picture”. We honor and respect (praise)
God when we accept what is provided, and the same is true of our giving.
The circle must be completed. One-way streets don’t work, literally
and figuratively.
“The
Law of Prosperity is based on the perpetual circulation of God’s
Idea in the Infinite Mind.”
World
cultures revolve around money. Money is a medium of exchange utilizing
a monetary, mathematical system, a symbol of value of itself and what
it will become. Recognizing that ALL is energy, and that energy vibrates
on many frequencies, let’s take a look at some of these vibrations
via numerology, another application of mathematics.
Dr.
Raymond Charles Barker (Science of Mind Minister) was the first that
I’m aware of to recognize money as a symbol of our physical blood’s
supply and circulation. Think about it for a moment. How often do we
exchange money, items, and services, for things of value? How often
does our blood flow through our arteries and veins, exchanging nutrients
and wastes in all our anatomical systems? Money, like air currents and
ocean waters, circulates our planet daily; just as our blood supply
circulates throughout our physical body. Wouldn’t it be fun to
put a microchip in currency and track its movements? Hmm, maybe this
is already being done???
Our
word MONEY carries the #9 vibration of Altruism, compassion, generosity,
world brotherhood, and building group consciousness. So does the Latin
word for money, NUMMULUS. #9 is also the vibration of “releasing
and letting go”, suggesting right away that Money is to be circulated
rather than imprisoned. When this energy is applied negatively it behaves
in an intolerant, extreme, and fickle manner. Well, when we misuse money
it sure can become “fickle”, just doesn’t stick around
at all! The nature of Money then is to CIRCULATE.
In
early Native American cultures hides and pelts (#9’s) symbolized
their money and these were exchanged (change #5) for corn (#5), tobacco
(#5), beans (#5) and any other items they needed or wanted. In our culture,
we exchange (change #5) paper currency and metal coins (#5) for desired
items and services.
Isn’t
it interesting, if not synchronistic, that CORN (#5) and soy BEANS (#5)
are now being used to produce PLASTIC (#8), another form of currency,
replacing the old “money” PETROLEUM/OIL (#9). An article
in the Las Vegas Review Journal (LVRJ), June 26, 2005, dateline Blair,
Nebraska, quotes plant manager, Bill Suehr, “Essentially, we’ve
got corn coming in at one end and plastic coming out the other.”
The plastic and polyester products made with this new process consumes
50% less fossil fuel than their petroleum based predecessors.
The absence of money in our culture labels us “Paupers”
or “Homeless”. Our net worth symbolizes our status in society.
Our “creature comforts” symbolize how much money we have
or don’t have. Society’s collective consciousness is reflected
in the following statement: “He who has the most toys wins!”
CIRCULATION,
ACCEPTANCE, and HYPERTENSION carry the #8 vibration of Material manifestation,
power, and authority.
When
Money is viewed with acceptance and allowed to circulate in a positive
manner, it brings respect, wealth, success, and confidence. However,
if money is negatively managed, the holder can become overly ambitious,
materialistic, and grasping, while developing a callous disregard for
others, then the fear of failure emerges, and sometimes the reaction
is to over compensate by becoming economically careless. As the money
supply dwindles, societal and physical pressures increase and hypertension/high
blood pressure easily manifests, symbolizing a state of imbalance within.
In
1616 Dr. William Harvey discovered that blood does indeed circulate
in the human body, in a circle, from top to bottom of the circulatory
system and back up again. “The movement of the blood is constantly
in a circle and is brought about by the beat of the heart”. (“Unconditional
Life”, Deepak Chopra) Clearly, we must keep money, the symbol
of our circulating blood supply, freely flowing in a balanced manner.
The
opposite of hypertension is HYPOTENSION (#7). To lower the blood pressure
the correct application of wisdom, analysis, detachment, and faith,
must replace fear and anxiety. We must “cease the resistance”
and lay the issue to rest. The positive use of this energy is to become
a seeker of deeper truths, as the #7 vibration also manifests as mystical
and intuitive abilities.
However,
the blood pressure can become too low when this energy is expressed
in a negative manner and one becomes too analytical, critical, intellectually
conceited and vain, deceptive, skeptical, and/or introverted as in the
“clinch/cinch” mode.
When
the pressure is on to meet monetary deadlines, observe your blood pressure.
Long-term financial bouts surely cause the blood pressure to rise. Case
in point; a letter to the Editor of our local newspaper regarding our
now defunct Pahrump Medical Center (PMC) wrote: “The ‘measly’
$525,000 of taxpayer money to settle this wasteful and corrupt situation
should arouse and increase the blood pressure of all citizens of this
fine community.” Bet it increased the writer’s!
We “cinch and clinch” when we don’t know where our
next shekel is coming from, and that action impedes the circulating
blood, creating pressure on our arteries and veins. Faith (#8) that
our Creator supplies all our needs must become a paramount thought.
We must return to the “sweet spot” within to find our Bliss
(#7), which then allows unobstructed circulation, thereby reducing blood
pressure.
Reminds
me of a personal experience back in 1954 when Pres. Truman declared
our country was indeed in a “Recession”. Not even waitress
jobs were available! My Mom’s 54th (#9) birthday, March 6, 1954
(#1) occurred on a vibration of anew beginning (#1). I had $10 to my
name and no job in sight. In those days $10 went a very long way. I
strongly desired to do something nice for her birthday and intuited
it would be okay to spend some money. We went to dinner in downtown
San Diego, CA at the Brass Rail (#9), a really nice restaurant and bar.
$10 bought our dinner, a small rose corsage, and two Manhattans to toss
off the celebration! Mom paid our round trip bus fare, leaving me change
for bus fare in case a job interview came up. We had a wonderful dinner,
a good time, and we felt wealthy, because we were “hob-knobbing”.
That was a Saturday night. On Monday I was hired as cashier at the Peter
Pan (#5) restaurant, just blocks away from the Brass Rail. By trusting
my intuition a shift occurred in consciousness allowing prosperity to
flow in my life.
Suffering
in any form is NOT a normal state, it IS a symptom of dis-ease, of being
out of balance, out of harmony with one’s self. Deepak Chopra,
MD, states in his book “Unconditional Life”, “If getting
sick is within my power, so is getting well”.
Our
paper money is called CURRENCY (#8) and has the same vibration as Circulation
and Acceptance, and has basically been green ever since I’ve been
around. We even call our dollar (#8) bills “green backs”.
The
Green Ray symbolizes abundance, health, supply, peacefulness, and definitely
has a calming influence on the nervous system and the proper functioning
of the body as a whole. It’s also identified with the green plant
energy chlorophyll, which produces oxygen necessary for balanced heart
and lung function. If you are not getting enough oxygen to the brain,
or having heart arrhythmias, put a green light bulb in your reading
lamp and sit under its glow for 10-15 minutes a day. Or, put a roll
of currency in your pocket, even if it’s just $1 dollar bills
(#9), and watch your self-esteem rise, and worries diminish. 9+1=10/1,
a new beginning. (I manipulated that one just a little, all others are
synchronicity.
Recently,
our currency’s design incurred some minor changes and fortunately
for us the colors added to the larger bills are pink and blue.
Blue
is a spiritual vibration, producing a claming effect. The element Ether
is contained in the Blue Ray. Remember Ether? “An unbroken field
of activity in constant ceaseless motion, an eternal medium for the
exchange and transmission of energies…the Light that synthesizes
Spirit, Soul, and Body”.
The
Blue Ray is used for healing imbalances. “The Cosmic Soul or Higher
Mind of Nature expresses much of the peace, beauty, and harmony of creation
through the Blue and Green Rays.” (Alice A. Bailey)
Pink
is said to be the vibration of Universal Love. It rejuvenates, raises
vibrational levels, and assists in the reduction of weight and wrinkles.
Okay, I’m adding more PINK to my wardrobe! ? Our Thymus gland,
is said to have a pinkish-gold aura, and it is the Master gland of our
Immune system. Think how sick we get when money worries appear.
Truly
the Treasury Dept. made the right decision by adding blue and pink.
In the Western World green represents the color of our Heart chakra’s
aura, and blue is for the Throat chakra. When our heart chakra is open,
we are loving and accepting, and our blood freely circulates. The throat
chakra symbolizes our verbal creative organ, the “Holy Grail”,
because we create with our words. Remember, “In the beginning
was the Word…” However, thoughts precede words, so be aware
of them because “As a man thinketh, so is he”.
Look
around and discover the many ways that Nature circulates her wealth.
For example the Moneywort plant, which does not produce seeds or pollen
in its flowers, therefore cannot reseed itself or be pollinated by bees,
birds, and insects. How then does it reproduce? It is self-sustaining,
sending out vines which root into the fertile soil and soon a smaller
version of its self appears. This method is called CIRCULATION.
PROSPERITY
(#8) carries the same vibration as Currency, Acceptance, and Circulation.
Money, paycheck, and bills, are all #9 vibrations, therefore to be prosperous
and healthy we must keep our money and blood flowing in a circuitous
manner
Prosperity
and Abundance comes in many guises. The following story also appeared
in the LVRJ recently.
A
12 year old girl was abducted from her village, in Ethiopia, by a group
of men, one wanting to force the young lady to marry him. She objected
so she was beaten severely. Seven (#7) days after her disappearance
she was found by Police and her own villagers, protected by THREE Lions.
#3 symbolizes good fortune, creativity, the Trinity, and joy. The Lions
had apparently frightened off her captures. The Villagers think this
is truly a miracle (#7) because normally the lions would savagely attack
a human. When the rescuers approached, the lions calmly got up and walked
away, leaving the girl for them to take home. Imagine their joy at finding
her alive. Now that is real prosperity (7+3+7=17/8).
Recently
I completed a Beginner’s Tarot class with a wonderfully insightful
teacher named Phyllis, and I was guided to draw a card from the Pentacles
suit, the money cards. I had asked for the “key” to this
topic on money and #2 appeared. This symbolizes the dualities of life,
urging us to consider alternatives in our way of believing, to balance
life amidst turmoil, and to understand that “dualities exist and
interact within a higher principle”. (“Spiritual Tarot”)
#2 is the vibration of cooperation, harmony, peace, balance, and urging
us to gather information from both sides of a position before taking
a stand.
If
you ever feel impoverished remember that our Creator/Universe supplies
us with oxygen, water, earth, and fire, all mixed by the eternal medium
of Ether. True to the axiom, “As Above, So Below” we emulate
this endless circle of supply in our own physical ‘universe”
when we purchase needed “elements” with currency/dollars,
the medium of exchange and circulation that keeps our physical world
prosperous.
Wishing
you Peace (#3) and Prosperity (#8)=11/2.
